Day 4 is the last full day of the class. We covered a few more topics related to Cloud and web caches and then went into miscellaneous topics that didn't fit into any other category. The coolest part of this course is that they give you roughly 30 days of additional access to the labs and another whole section of exercises that there wasn't time for. Taking a look at the bonus material, there are some interesting lessons on serialization and GraphQL, things I haven't previously explored.
Once the class was over, the instructor stuck around to answer questions. I imagine other courses do this, but we were also invited to an after-party with drinks and food later in the night with the instructors and other people from the class.
As I have previously mentioned, the parties mostly start on the 4th night. I attended only one party on a rooftop, but it was a great time. I learned that these parties don't go extremely late, mainly because it's an open bar which I imagine gets insanely pricey. I arrived a little after 7 pm and stayed until 11 pm. While there, I got an amazing shot of the Vegas strip featured in this article. After the main parties are over, I recommend going to the piano bar over in New York New York. There isn't much seating, but at least when I went, it wasn't too crowded, and they played great music.
